Employee Archive for White Star Line?
Hello
John Charles PRICE born 1884 (my grandmother's brother) was lost to the family after going into Pontypool Workhouse aged 3, being discharged into "Service" 10 years later in 1897 aged 13.
I cannot find him in census 1901 or 1911. It is possible that he is the "John PRICE" who features regularly as a Steward between 1917 & 1924) on the ships Adriatic, Arabic & Baltic. 1924 is the cut off date for the Ellis Island manifest records on which I found this person.
Does anyone know if a company archive of former employees of the White Star Line is held anywhere?
Any help gratefully received.
Lorna
