William Stanley Hodgson
Hello,
I have been looking for information regarding my great grandfather, William Stanley Hodgson. He was a captian on the White Star Line, however it is not known on what ship or ships he sailed. He was born on 11/11/1877 in Maryport, UK.
My father and I would appreciate any information you may have on my great grandfather, or if you could point us in the direction of where we could find the information, we would be very grateful.

Hi,
I can't promise anything but I will see if I can find something, in the morning.
Do you know what year he started being a captain for white star and for how long?
The best place to ask for information on how to research him would be an ancestry website or forum.

Hi,
Thank you for looking into it for me - that's all the info on him I have, sad really! Just really wanted to know which ship he was on, but no probs if you can't find anything..we have done a bit of looking around but unable so far to find anything out.

Sorry i could not find anything. Have you tried asking at an ancestry or that type of forum? they sould be able to tell you good ways of finding out information.
