List of the crew quarters
Hi All
below is a list of the crew quarters,
Quarters of the Crew
Boat-Deck:
Starboard side aft the Bridge:
Captain Edward John Smith.
Fourth Officer Joseph Grove Boxhall.
Port side aft the Bridge:
Chief Officer Henry Tingle Wilde.
First Officer William McMaster Murdoch.
Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller.
Third Officer Herbert John Pittman.
Fifth Officer Harold Godfrey Lowe.
Sixth Officer James Paul Moody
Midship - beside the Marconi Room - aft the quarters of the Captain and Officers:
Senior Radio Operator John George Phillips.
Assistant Radio Operator Harold Bride.
C-Deck:
Mid ship on the starboard side in Cabin 39 - close to the Grand Staircase - opposite the Enquiry & Purser's Office: Chief Purser Herbert Walter McElroy.
D-Deck:
Forward, at bow: 108 firemen.
E-Deck:
Forward, at bow: 72 trimmers.
Port side, a bit aft: 44 seamen.
Port side, further aft: 62 Second-Class stewarts, 106 saloon waiters, 24 bedroom stewarts, miscellaneous cooks and kitchen staff.
Port side just aft of amidship: the entire "A la Carte Restaurant" staff.
Towards the stern - with a separate room for their instruments - the members Titanic's orchestra:
Brailey, Mr. W. Theodore [Pianist]
Bricoux, Mr. Roger [Cellist]
Clarke, Mr. John Frederick Preston [Bass Violist]
Hartley, Mr. Wallace Henry [Bandmaster]
Hume, Mr. John Law [First Violinist]
Krins, Mr. Georges [Violinist]
Taylor, Mr. Percy Cornelius [Cellist]
Woodward, Mr. John Wesley [Cellist]
F-Deck:
Forward, at bow: 53 firemen.
Port side, amidship: 42 Third-Class stewarts.
Starboard side, amidship: engineer officers.
Aft among the Third-Class cabins: 5 Postal clerks.
G-Deck:
Forward, at bow: 15 leading firemen, 30 greasers.

i think if i am not mistaken [which i may be] but i think that murdochs cabin was in front of lifeboatd davit number 8 right?
