Your own past life experiance

Hi All

In this section I would be most interested in hearing your own experiance that you have had regarding a past life. Now what do I mean, Well in terms of ease what it felt like, why it happend and why you think it is a pst life experiance.

This can be from many experiances such as , finding onesellf around a strange place without help or maps. Knowing something from a past time without having to lok it up etc.

Re: Your own past life experiance

i have had a lot of things like that happen. they are happening today or at present time i should say.

i will walk somewhere and some one will look at me as if they have seen me before and they will talk to me like they have known me my whole life. this being i have never seen them at all. also i know i was a officer or higher in command in my last lives because i have a love for the ocean yet a great fear of it as well. sort of like respecting it.

another reason i think that is because i have to be in charge i dont like being under anyone elses command.
i have always had a certain confidence in myself that i find hard to hide at certain points as well. i also know that everytime i try something new no matter what i am good at it. it is as if i have done it several times before. i have a comfortable feeling with water . it is almost as if it hyponizes me [no pun intended honest]

i have people trust me no matter what. and i have been able to think on a dime ;; cat-like reflexes and so on. i have a personality that people just like . i am compfortable in public. i dont like changes either if i can keep the same crew forever it would be nice. it is as if they are my own family . i like it that way.

anyway more later.

Re: Your own past life experiance

Hi Wills

It has been said many times in the past and more than likely many times to come, that a hate for the sea is a natural thing. Most people who believe in past life, also say that it is linked to the past life as in drowned etc. What you say is a natural officers respect for the ocean. I myself respect the sea. I know what it can do and it takes no prisoners. The ones that get out of a sinking are spared from a fate worse than death in a way. To drown is a horrid way to die.

Also a outgoing personality is a great thing to have this day and age. The ability to talk and make people do things is all a good quality of a leader. And yes it may be linked to a past life. The qualities are supposed to transfer forward. So in reality you have a good case to move forward on that line should you ever wish to do so.

I also know other things about you that also add up to the scientific approach of past life. And yes it is worth digging deeper.

Back to the sea and the point of hypnotised by it, It is not as silly as it sounds. I once worked in a large company where the switchboard operator was unable to go anywhere near the sea. If she got to eye sight it drew her in. This I witnessed one day on a trip. We went to the coast for a night out. There was around 30 to 40 of us on a coach. The pub was on top of a cliff, at a place called Flamborough Head, A old smugglers den in Easy Yorkshire. We where all sat around inside ordering meals and drinking. And one of the other girls asked where Tracy was. No one knew so a search was made thinking we had left her at the last pub. One of the guys we had with us shouted that he could see her outside walking towards the cliff edge. Like a flash he ran out and grabbed her. She had a large amount of new strength and it took him and another colleague a long time to drag her back inside. She would of carried on walking over the edge I think if they had not stopped her. A few days later at work I was talking to her and her fiancé, and she said it is one thing that happens any time she sees the sea. She feels it is calling her in.

I myself love to sit on the prom not on a good day but on a storm day and watch the sea lash at the shore line. There is nothing better. I also take long walks on the beach when I have things to think about, the sound and movement of the sea helps me tremendously.

Most meditation has a balance of water in it to relax people. Think of streams etc. They do relax by the soft water flowing and rippling. It is not just a coincidence this it is the way the mind works. People are a lot calmer near water than they are away from it.

But I have digressed now. In past life it is a fear of water that many have, after the past life has been brought out to show they where drowned.

More later

Ever since I have been able to remember, I have loved the sea. I always wanted to be out on her blue vastness even though the largest body of water around was Lake St. Clair..not a very big lake at all.

I am considered a bit odd...my idea of a good time this life is to cross the North Atlantic...in winter! It's odd, but I have never--and I do mean NEVER--been afraid of the water...my mom says I learnt to swim with no problems at all. I have been stuck out in the middle of the Detroit River...and I just peacefully floated there, knowing it would be fine..though the feeling was vaguely familiar.

The ocean doesn't frighten me. Yes, I know that she is vast and she is unforgiving but I want to be out on her nevertheless...

now that is definately some food for thought lights.

you can love the ocean but you also have to respect her.

that is almost an unwritten rule of the sea so to speak.

I agree there, the ocean or sea has to be respected. It is one of the most dangerous things around.

Oh yes, and if you give her half a chance she will take you down...even if you don't. But somhow for me, she is the eternal All, the source of all life...yes, you have to respect her, for he who does not will be broken by her.

This fits here I guess...my earliest recollection of Titanicwas when I was eight years old...I was at recess and a group of us children were singing "They Built the Ship Titanic" and as we sang, suddenly I closed my eyes and I could see this enormous ocean liner sailing under the stars...so many of them. I had never seen an ocean liner in my life yet somehow I knew that this was what it was. Then, as the song progressed, other less pleasant scenes...panic on deck, people below trying to get out...I left the group and went over to a quiet spot to think about what I had seen. This happened in April of 1962...around the 50th anniversary of the sinking.

At the age of thirteen my parents took me on a large midwestern cross-lake ferry. This was a large ship with lots of room for cars and even cabins for those making a crossing at night. SInce we were crossing in da;light, my father asked me if I would like to take a walk on deck to which I gladly assented. As we walked along for a few moments I found myself walking on another , entirely different promenade. At that moment came a knowlege...a certainty if you will...that I had done this on another ship in another time...the promenade was nothing like the one I was on with my father...it wasn't until 1996 that I saw a picture of that Promenade: Titanic's A-Deck Portside Promenade.

Hi Wills

Yes it is possable that we all have a PL. It is a subject that most people used to shy away from. But recent stats show that a lot more people are now interested in this side of life. ( for the want of a better way of putting it).

This of course may be for several reasons, One peoples knowledge is far greater now, the media and science institutes are more open on the subject than they have ever been, It ws concidered a black area till not so long agao. In this I mean the same as a air craft piolot who reports a UFO, they are often sent for psychiatric testing when they do report it so they dont. The same thing applied to scientists throughout the world who used to say they had fond things to associate PL with the today. they where frowned up on and cast aside.

A pure scientific aproach has to be made of all sides of the coin. A para psychologist if he is any good always looks for the obvious first. then starts to look at the not so obvious.

Regression is something now for the ordinary person to try, Again with this comes a lot of people who think they can do it and a regressor has to be found who is first qualified and second with a good reputation. A lot of dubious so called regressors are out there, again this comes as now it is a thing to do. They soon jump onm the band wagon.
