Especiallly as I've heard absolutely nothing about those so-and-sos who went into the stern last year, and if anyone should be prosecuted it was them! Has anyone else heard any word on how that's going?

Someone is mucking round in her stern?! Are they b****y mad or what?! Yeah they should be persecuted...for stupidity if nothing else!

I have said it before and I will say it again...one of these days, some greedy salvor is going to go too far and end up getting killed!

I Heard about that as a matter of fact but nothing on what happened to them or if they even were repremanded for thier actions. i think they should at the very least pay a pretty stiff fine for it, but if we are relying on the US officials (I m not sure where the jurisdiction would be rather it would be the us or the uk or maybe even canada) it may not go anywhere. If they only give people 3 years in prison here for beating your 3 month old baby, something like tampering with a historic artifact without proper licesure would probably get thrown outof court here in the US, if i am thinking of the same incident. Please forgive my ignorrance of jurisdiction matters havent quite gotten to that. ( dont mean to sound like i am bad talking the us but the justice system needs work

I also have to agree with you lights it is quite dangerous and they are completely nuts!

Hi Lights

Unfortunately salvers seem to think they can go in take what they want, The case of taking bones is utter disgusting. I would say worse but you are keeping me on my toes and I don't mind.

Unfortunately the same people seem to find there way to all wrecks now. Artefacts and I mean that in the proper sense ok if the ship is old and no death occurred. But as for modern day salver . sorry cannot think of the correct words to say on a forum. Most people know my opinion on salvage work like this and it is not pro.

As for the case on Titanic, I am afraid I do not know anymore than has been said already but again I will try to find out.

Hi Titanicangel06

Unfortunately I am not sure of the outcome or for the matter who would prosecute if anyone. The law is the same all over I am afraid. Cases like the one you describe happen here every day.

Awwwww, heck Graham, you know I have no compunction when it comes to calling bilgewater bilgewater! Let's try ghouls, thieves, bottom feeders (sorry, clams, mollusks, etc)...
