Re: Returning to the Titanic
Actually there are several people who do get notice in Ballard's TV stuff - I've just drawn blanks on the names! (Sorry folks I have surgery tomorrow and my mind's gone sidereal.)

Re: Returning to the Titanic
Thanks, I appreciate it, even though I'm trying not to think about it....
Something else Ballard has mentioned is the possibility of leaving on the ship cameras and some sort of lighting system, so that realtime pictures could be put up in various museums and on the internet. What are people's reactions to this? It sounds like a good idea, but it will take an enormous amount to accomplish - for one thing, I wouldn't want to be the one who has to change the light bulbs!

Re: Returning to the Titanic
ttf, it does sound like a great idea and would definately be really neat to see, but the maintnence on it would be tremendous and you have a point I would not want to be the one who has to go down there and clean lenses or change them or change lightbulbs, because that is one of the many things that would need ot be done, but it would be very interesting.
