Hi darkrose

Hey I got your name right today, sorry for yesterday I was having a off day yesterday.

But now you really have gone and done it, I want one. It is so good. I am in the middle of a HMS Victory at the moment but when that is finished I may just have a go at a Titanic one. I like the way he has model it as well. It would appear he has built it in two halves. Interesting as we where discussing weather the real ship of today could be built that way. Obviously a model and real thing is two different things but the logistics is similar.

But thanks for the links and they work ok.

Regards
Graham

On the Travel Channel, a Disney Cruise Ship was built in two separate parts (and it's "much" larger then a model)...then they floated the separate end to be joined with its front/aft end, and welded together. So you see--anything's possible.emoticon

It was interesting to say "the" least, Lill. Why, even Will was amused by what we saw.emoticon

For sure.emoticon He even got a big kick out of seeing the joy stick used to steer the ship, he saw on the bridge...when he's used to seeing a regular ships' wheel there instead.

BTW, you know that trivia question asked by Braniff over on the T-T! Index, re: why the DCS' lifeboats were painted yellow, instead of the now standardized orange? I learned the answer to his/her question. The lifeboats were painted yellow, inorder to match Mickey Mouse's yellow bow tie.emoticon

I had at one time wrote an email letter to Harland & Wolff's website. How I wish that they still have their site, because I could've told them about how the latest Disney Cruise Ship was built. Bet they too, would've got a great kick out of that, too.
