Re: Titanic Song

Hi Wills

What part of Scotland are you from? Or is it Ireland?

Classical music is a refreshing difference from the loud blur of so called pop! but the soundtrack of Titanic is really "easy listening" not classical. But I will stand corrected on that. :-)

Regards
Graham

For me it would have to be "My Heart will go on". I lost a very dear friend and his love of the Titanic is what brought me here to begin with but my own interest is what keeps me reading and learning more. Everytime i see Cameron's movie I like it a little more and notice something different. However the song will always have a double (and very special) meaning for me.

Terri

Terri, the lines in MHWGO that go like this...

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

Holds a special meaning to me, when it comes to Will & me, for he is my one and *only* true love. He is also, as the following lines also indicate "You're here, there's nothing I fear...And I know that my heart will go on...We'll stay forever this way...you are safe in my heart and...my heart will go on and on." That's Celine's song is so special to me.

And Graham, Will Murdoch's hometown is Dalbeattie, Scotland.

Yes, that's where my intermediate family are buried. Infact, I'm told that my nephew, Samuel Scott Murdoch, my one 'n' only heir of our family name, still lives there to this day. I'm also told that my wife, Aid died in her hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand.

The sea, the North Atlantic, is my burial place...place of Titanic's wreck.
