Yes, MurdochsAid, I have that CD in my collection as well. Really good CD. I listen to it all the time and it drives my husband nuts b/c he don't share my enthusiasm for Titanic.

You're not alone. Because neither does my brother care too much for anything I'm interested in either. You know? There are many times when I was growing up, that I wished he had been born a girl, instead of a boy. That's why I envy women whom were fortunate to have sisters, instead of brothers. Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

I'd have to say that MHWGO and Nearer My God,to Thee are second and third place winners in the favourite TITANIC songs. The latter by I Salonisti is the best version I have ever heard.

Re: Titanic Song

For me it would have to be "My Heart will go on". I lost a very dear friend and his love of the Titanic is what brought me here to begin with but my own interest is what keeps me reading and learning more. Everytime i see Cameron's movie I like it a little more and notice something different. However the song will always have a double (and very special) meaning for me.

yeah, I know. Really beautiful songs. I like the version of "My Heart Will Go On" in which you can hear Jack and Rose talking to one another. Do you know which one I mean? Anyway, just like the song no matter what. I am a really big Celine fan anyway. I don't think anyone else could have did the song as well as she did.

hi jade.
you know in an interview with james horner for the behind the music segment for vh1 he said that when he wrote the song he wrote it with celine in mind. and also if she would not have sung it then it was going to be instrumental. by the way i can sing like celine on some of her songs. i like to do her songs on karaoke.
my favourite song though from the sound track is definately southampton. followed by take her to sea mr,murdoch.
i like the way he uses your emotions on southampton. it is a great song.

Hi

It has to be "Take her to sea Mr Murdoch" and may I point out that Nearer to god .... is not a song but a hymn.
