You're right Wills, I am sure today's designs depended soley on computers. I guess they now feed the data to the computer (data such as the size of the ship, the type whether it is meant for carrying people or oil and the desired speed she supposed to travel) and the PC will produce the best design that serves these. You must have noticed the similarity in new cars shape. The new modles all look a like or similar to the extent that one would think that they were designed by the same designer or that companies steel designs from each other!!! I know that in the automobile industry they depend largely on computers nowadays.
So I guess you are right, if the design of the Titanic (although I love very much) would have been re-made today it will sure be different.

yeah i agree i do too like the titanic design however if is better this way at least we can still see her in pictures .
