Uh, I would say "Cahrge!" , but actually I believe it was

Re: Dinner
Uh, don't know about the time for sure, though I would say round 5 or 5:30 to give the ladies time to dress for dinner.
However, ttf, did I get the melody right?

Re: Dinner
I will never forget that scene in TITANIC on the forward promenade deck, where Maggie Brown, Ruth Dewitt Bukater, & Ruth, the Countess of Rothes, approaches Rose & Jack...for which the Jack is teaching Rose to spit.
When that bugle sounded and they all jumped, I got very tickled at Maggie's remark, "Why do they insist on announcing dinner like a damn calvary charge?"
And no, I don't yet know the trivia answer to this one.

Re: Dinner
I'd say the same as Lights. I believe there is a recording of it on Encyclopedia Titanica.

Re: Dinner
Uhm, not positive, but I should think around five or half-past five in order to give the ladies time to dress for dinner.
