Carter's car
Now for the hard one (I hate trivia questions):
Most of us know that William Carter lost his Ranault automobile; but, outside of the usual clothing and personal effects, what else was the most notable material thing he lost on Titanic (which he also put in a claim for)?

Re: Carter's car
I assume you are referring to the $100 dog and the $200 dog?

Re: Carter's car
Twenty four polo sticks.
(In addition to 60 shirts, 15 pairs of shoes, and 2 sets of tails--but these are all clothing which wasn't the question.)

Re: Carter's car
Yeah, I'd take the dogs over the polo sticks any day!

Re: Carter's car
Well, I'm not a dog lover (although I have three anyway--'rescue' dogs), but I think I'd worry about the dogs more myself--but nevertheless, Carter was more concerned over the loss of the polo sticks it seems.
Maybe it was the higher claim he could make (worth more). And I'm sure that would go over with a dog lover, right?
