2nd Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller
Lights, this is your area of expertise, isn't it?
Beginning April 10th, 1912, for when Titanic left Southampton, and when she eventually dropped anchor in Cherbourg's harbor. Where was Light's whereabouts, and how can one put him in the same area as his fellow shipmate, Murdoch? And whom were the Junior Officers on-duty (schedulewise), with him?

Re: 2nd Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller
Hmmm at Cherbourg Lightoller would have been on watch, but as I recall, Will would have relieved him for a half-hour or so for dinner, Lightoller returning the compliment on Will's watch. The "juniors"...not sure...will try to get a schedule or extrapolate back from the time of the collision if all else fails.

Re: 2nd Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller
Oh, okay. Thank you. In other words, during this stop, our curious pair could very well be standing at the open D/E deck door (remember the below photo of them, Will's last, standing at "that" door, which actually has them at Queenstown, Ireland?), watching as the 1st & 2nd Class passengers disembarking from Nomadic, and the disembarking Titanic passengers embarking the latter WSL tender?

Re: 2nd Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller
You are indeed right. That photograph at Wickepedia is that of the esteemed Henry Osbourne Cater, not Lightoller.
