It's not a real old book, but is not a brand new one either. I guess it will be a trial and error.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Teri Milch)Sat, 26 Feb 2005 04:21:07 +0000 Re: "Journey To Titanic" by Roger Bansemerhttps://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6926,from=rss#post6926https://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6926,from=rss#post6926Sounds like a great book Teri. He gives details about the submersible. How small it is, the different temperatures he tolerates, and his adventures with Titanic expert Ralph White. A sample from page 68, “Falling at a hundred feet a minute, it takes two hours to reach the bottom.” I am not finished reading this book but what I have read so far has been engrossing and intriguing and is an excellent read. I am glad he wrote this because not many people take the time to write lengthy books on their dives. Those that are involved are usually extremely busy professionals and have very little time to write, and if they do want to get a book written, they often times get a ghost writer to do the work for them. Roger did not do that. He wrote this book himself. His paintings and photographs are fabulous I might add. Roger’s foreword was written by James Cameron. There’s James again! --Terinondisclosed_email@example.com (Teri Milch)Fri, 25 Feb 2005 13:42:44 +0000
