NBC-TV's 4 hrs. 10 min. airing of TITANIC
NBC-TV recently reaired the much longer 4 hr. 10 min. theatrical version with longer footage of our beloved deck officers. Did many of you guys catch it?
I did, and I was most impressed to say the least. I loved Ewan Stewart's added footage of his reenactment of what Will allegedly did on that fateful night of April 14 & 15, 1912.
Plus, Lights, I totally agree with you, that Cameron's casting of Jonny Phillips as you, was a major mistake. Because he was much too short for the role. Why, you "completely" tower over Will... and JC could have chosen a taller actor for the role.
I also loved the added footage of Ioan Gruffudd (Lowe); both onboard/off-ship, as well.
All-in-all, this version of TITANIC was the best I have ever seen, since I originally saw it up north in Oregon.
--- Precious Lord, take my hand, Lead me on, let me stand! I am tired, I am weak, I am worn, Through the storm, to the light, Take my hand, precious Lord, Lead me home. ~ Tommy Dorsey
