Worst TITANIC Movie
OK, we have a thread for the best TITANIC movie, so now, let's go for the WORST!
In my view, the CBS miniseries (TITANIC) with George C. Scott and Catherine Zeta-Jones is about the WORST I have seen thus far. I really get rankled because First Officer Murdoch is made to look like a complete and utter incompetent. I mean if he'd been like that in real life, he'd never have made it onto a garbage scow let alone the decks of TITANIC. In short, he is made to look as if he's trying to be a serious contender for "Developmentally Disabled Merchant Officer of 1912"!
My rating? Four thumbs DOWN!!!!

Re: Worst TITANIC Movie
For once, Lights, here's something we're in complete agreement about. And that is, the 2-part TITANIC miniseries totally stunk!

Re: Worst TITANIC Movie
I refused to watch that mini series, so I can't comment on it. My worst Titanic movie is the 1955 version "TITANIC" with Barbara Stanwyck and Clifton Webb.
Also, if you count fictional movies based on "TITANIC", then I would add "Raise the Titanic" to my list.

Re: Worst TITANIC Movie
The only saving grace of Raise The Titanic, is the scene where Titanic breaks the surface of the ocean after being raised. That scene alone was worth the $10.00 I paid for the movie.

Re: Worst TITANIC Movie
the worst one i have ever seen was where this man raises Titanic, and she comes up all in one piece and is really clean and they walk on her decks etc. i cant remember what its called. i dont like SOS Titanic either.
