Hi Kaz
I have a copy of SOS Titanic on VHS and I wouldn't say that I hate it, it is my 3rd favourite Titanic movie.
As for JC's movie it is my favourite for the sets and special effects, I could certainly do without the Kate Winslett and Leonardo DICaprio love story though

Re: FAVOURITE TITANIC FILM
For me too, I give JC's TITANIC one thump up. I thoroughly enjoyed it...except, I do give it one thump down due to the negative way Will Murdoch was portrayed by Ewan Stewart during the sinking scenes. Other then that, I loved it due to its historical accuracy, as well as the love story between Rose & Jack (Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio).
TTF, I also saw the miniseries, and I thought it stunk. Why? I hated the way actor-singer Tim Curry wound playing a rapest. But he got it at the end, when he was knocked overboard one of the lifeboats.

Re: FAVOURITE TITANIC FILM
Guess, I'd have to say that it would be A Night to Remember, followed by JC's TITANIC (More for sets and technical detail than the sucky love story)...in the case of the latter, it's TITANIC that is the REAL STAR!

I couldn't agree with you more, Lights. Those aerial shots of Titanic were awesome!!! Weren't they? I also loved that scene for which we first saw a small craft sail boat, and then we see her towering black hull sailing into view. That scene *really* takes my breath away!!!

Hi Everyone
The best Titanic film ever has to be A Night To Remember. No matter how many time I watch that I still cry.

Re: FAVOURITE TITANIC FILM
Hi All
ANTR is a great film, closely followed by SOS Titanic.

Re: FAVOURITE TITANIC FILM
Yep. 46 years on and ANTR still delivers all of the emotional punch that it did when first released. ANTR ROCKS...and RULES!
