Please Be Respectful Of Others

I want to take just a moment as moderator to express the importance of being respectful of others on this board. While I want everyone to be able to express their own opinions and thoughts, please do so with how others feel in mind. We can disagree with someone, without being disrespectful. If you follow that simple, common sense rule then it makes my job much easier. I really am an easy going person.

I agree Jade, If people give consideration to other people cultural differences, religious beliefs and feelings before posting something, then there shouldn't be too many problems.

One other thing - please remember that when you type things, others may not be aware of your expression. Cut the other person some slack and just take it that he/she meant it nicely. There's a wonderful saying: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."

Very true TTF. Good addition. One of the downfalls of meeting people online and having discussions is that you are without benefit of "hearing" them, so what you may see as hateful may be nothing of the sort.
