I used to belong to a temporary job agency, so I did part-time temporary office work wherever they would send me. Why? Because it was too tough trying to find permanent work on my own. So I was told that these temp jobs would atleast get my feet in the doors on that front. Plus, it was better than nothing.

ADIA Task Force, was the temp agency I used to work of waaay back in the 1970s. Then there were plenty of permanent & temp jobs to be had...that weren't for dumb reasons, being sent overseas to foreign countries and a way from Americans. Then our only competitors were the illegal aliens from south of the boader taking our jobs away from us. And that, even then, totally sucked.

hello ,
this is an old post. however i thought that i would reply to it anyway.
i am a manager at subway . have been for 3 years now. been at that store for 5 at the end of june. seems like a long time .

Hi Wills
A manager of a store, I used to be a manager of a supermarket in Scarborough, and a motor outlet in Bridlington, Then a off licence come grocery. But I still prefer the job I do now, More rewarding. and I decided if I was not going to use my degree then it was a waste of time getting it.
