5th April: As a Good Friday tribute to the people of Southampton, Titanic was 'dressed' with pennants and flags. There was only just five days remaining until her maiden voyage departure day.

On this day 100 years ago: RMS Carpathia arrived at Pier 54 in New York with Titanic's 712 survivors. Titanic's lifeboats were landed where Titanic should would have arrived in New York.
