Titanic - The True Story
Titanic-The True Story, will air on channel 5 on Friday 7th January at 8pm. Unfortunatley this is only for members in the UK.
I doubt the programme will contain anything ground breaking but should be worth a watch.

Re: Titanic - The True Story
Thanks, I had no idea about this. It looks like as well as facts about Titanic It will be asking how accurate is the Titanic film.

Re: Titanic - The True Story
What did everyone think of it?
I have recorded it but have only seen little bits of it. From what I have seen it looks interesting.

Re: Titanic - The True Story
What a load of rubbish. Paul Louden Brown is a complete idiot, there he is saying that Captain Smith should never have been in charge of Titanic, what a plonker. And then they get the uniforms of the officers in the simulater completely wrong plus the fact that they show images of Lusitania and Aquitania and calling them Titanic and tell me where has it ever said that the Iceberg was spotted a mile away. Rubbish

Re: Titanic - The True Story
I've seen three episodes of this documentary series. Each one puts a movie up against real life. The episodes I saw were 'JAWS', 'Jurassic Park' and 'Titanic'. I remember that part of the 'Titanic' episode showed an experiment being done to see how well the human body copes with being immersed in cold water for a long period of time. First, the person in the water was asked to swim then they were asked to keep still. The swimmer's body temperature was measured and was found to drop a lot quicker when moving around. Of course, they couldn't use water as cold as what the Atlantic would have been when Titanic sank but the conclusion was that moving around would make you catch hypothermia faster then you would if you stayed still.
