Kathy Bates ("Molly Brown" in TITANIC)
quote: "TWO OSCAR" WINNERS AND AN OSCAR NOMINEE ON A PICTUREESQUE DRIVE TO FIND THEMSELVES! YOU CAN'T ASK FOR MORE!
Hitch a ride with three Hollywood's most acclaimed actresses in this rollicking road movie that's "full of warmth, tears and humorous zingers" (The New York Observer). Starring Academy Award Winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates and Academy Award Nominee Joan Allen, Bonneville is a charming gem of a film that celebrates fun, friendship and detours of life that make us who we are.
Recently widowed Arvilla (Lange) is at a crossroads. Her stepdaughter Francine (Christine Baranski) has threatened to sell Arvilla's Idaho home unless Arvilla brings her late husband's ashes to California, where they'll be interred for eternity beside his first wife. Arvilla's friends Margene (Bates) and Carol (Allen) convince Arvilla to deliver the ashes. But when Arvilla convinces them to go with her in her husband's 1966 Bonneville, the stage is set for an unforgettable journey filled with hitchhikers, truckers, breathtaking vistas, Vegas jackpots and a powerful final showdown.
Actors Tom Skerritt and Victor Rasuk also costar in this 20th Century Fox film with the above three AAW actresses.
If you loved Kathy in TITANIC, you'll also love her in this film as well too.

Re: Kathy Bates ("Molly Brown" in TITANIC)
Only just this Sunday night, I saw Kathy's Failure To Launch film, for which her costars were Matthew McConnaughy & Sarah Jessica Parker. This was a really cute film, if I say so myself.
Anyhoo, Kathy's character, the actor (I can't recall his name), and Sarah's character, conpsire to get Matthew's character to move out of his parent's home. Along the way, Matthew & Sarah fall in love with each other.
Also in this film, Matthew's character is a boat salesman, who has three male friends, and he looks after a small young African-American boy. Sarah's character lives in a house, for which she has a female roommate.
I just know that you folks will enjoy this film. I KNOW I did.
Also, TITANIC also aired this past Saturday night on TNT; and Kathy's & James Caan's Misery also was seen on TV over the weekend too.
