Edwardian Era Movies
This is about movies made with the Edwardian Era-type storylines, settings, costumes, etc. For example: Audrey Hepburn's My Fair Lady movie musical is such a film.
I'm listing it, because it is a much loved film most of us have seen.

And then there is Mary Poppins.

Re: Edwardian Era Movies
Not to also mention Hayley Mills' Pollyanna, that is set exactly in "the" year of 1912... Actress Jane Wyman, our now late President Ronald Reagan's 1st wife, played "Aunt Polly Harrington", in this delightful Disney film as well.

Re: Edwardian Era Movies
You know what, Lee? I think you're right about those two movies being of the Edwardian Era.

Re: Edwardian Era Movies
It is amazing what good and great films there is still around today, I am not sure about the greatness of Mary Popins, Fake accents throughout. And not a thing of real life in it.
Hayley Mills now she was one of my idols. I loved her in the parent trap. And her father of course Sir John Mills now he was a actor.
