I really hate to get picky here, but the ships were not stolen... they were war reparations...

i have no idea but the ships i was talking about were bought by white star line from the germans.

They weren't "bought from the germans"...they were seized by the allies.
White Star called them Homeric (Columbus) and Majestic (Bismarck).

Majestic (II) was the largest ship that the White Star line ever owned, she was the largest in the world until Normandie, which entered service in 1935 and the largest British ship until Queen Mary entered serice in 1936.
Majestic andHomeric were both sold off in 1936.
