i second that graham,

i never met her obviously but i really think the character portral in jc movies in 1997 really made people like her because she treated jack good. you know anyway i dont really think that she was that way in reall life as a matter of fact werent her and her husband getting a divorice or had gotten a divorice . i read a article somewhere ill dig it out that she wanted to be in the middle of the upper class society in denver and they would not accept her..... hmmm i wonder...

So, why hold that against her? There might've been numerable reasons behind their divorce. It might not have been all her fault...plus, please remember, that it does take two to tango. And furthermore--what's so terrible about wanting to better your standing in the world? She atleast, wasn't a snob, like those those in the so-called upper class are who looked down on the lower class of people.

Just remember Jesus' words, 'Let ye who are with out sin cast the first stone.' ...and then He said to this woman who allegedly cheated on her husband, 'I come into this world not to condemn it, but to forgive. Woman, go and sin no more.'

So you see--I "still" like Maggie, and wouldn't mind at all being seen with her as her friend.

tammy,
i amnot holding anything against her for that. divorice is her business not mine or yours or anyones for that matter. it was just simply a statement that i made about her. well actually it was a question .

i have no intentions of going any further with this my feelings on her so as to not get you stirred up.lol

everyone is entitled totheir opinion and graham and simply stated ours.

(Lights pulls out Webley again)...lol

Molly was actaully a great help to the survivors in the steerage as she spoke a number of languages at least competently and it was she who went down to the steerage on Carpathia to find out what steerage survivors were in need of...it was also she who started a fund for survivors...and it was likely she who started the fund for the captain and crew of Carpathia. She may not have had all the polish of "high society" but in my book she was every inch a lady!

Now, have been thinking more on this thread...I, too would like to have spent time with Thomas Andrews...interesting chap. I would also have liked to spent a bit of time with J. Bruce Ismay (if he would let me), get to know what it is like to run a great shipping line...a cup of tea or two with Capt. Smith for sure...and of course...an hour or two with old Lights himself!

I will guarantee there were bores. They tend to assemble when a group of humans reach 15.
