If you could dive to the wreck, would you?

If you had the money to do so, would you dive to the wreck? I cannot think of anything else I would want to do more. Just to be able to see Titanic for myself with my own eyes would be greater than I have words to even be able to describe it with. I guess the 3-D movie "Ghost of the Abyss" is the closest I will ever come to actually being there!!!! We can dream though can't we?

As much as I would love to dive to the wreck, I don't think I could bring myself to get into one of those submersibles.

I don't really like closed in places too much myself and considering that you could die in an instant if one of those little port hole windows gave in, but I still think I would do it.

I have thought long and hard about this one and like everybody else, I, too, would dive to the wreck if I could afford it. I have been irresistably drawn to TITANIC for the better part of a decade now, and it would be nice to visit her if only once.

I think the whole submersible thing would stop me dead. I just have a real problem with being so deep under water with no way out.
That said, I'd LOVE to visit Titanic. I just don't have the guts.

I would feel much safer diving to the wreck of the Britannic in nice shallow water. emoticon

Would be nice to see Britannic too. I heard once that they plan to make her an underwater museum so that people can actually go down to see her. I don't know how true that is. Like everything else, you seriously have to pick and choose what is believable and what isn't. Who knows. Maybe they will some day. It would be fun!
