Don't know if anyone else is from the Midwest United States, but if so, the name Edmund Fitzgerald...does anyone have any information about her?

Just finished read a book by Paul E. Hainault which says that theFitz sank because she shoaled on Superior Shoal and her steel was fatally damaged by wave action during the storm that lashed Lake Superior that [sign in to see URL] faulty hatch covers as was judged by the CG and NTSB.
So, now, what you you guys think about this theory?
