Local users - please read.
All local user accounts are going to be deleted soon.
Local accounts have not been available (to create a new one) since November 2003, so not many users have them.
The few users who need to create a new global account and have their post count moved from their old to new accounts are:
Commodore
Tim G
Jade
titanicgirl
The above users have not been on the forum (or at least not posted) for a while, anyway but I would be more than happy for them to return.

Re: Local users - please read.
Tom,
How about also using your Donald Trump "You're fired!" card on one of your co-administrator and moderator. Because it is they whom are making things most uncomfortable on this board...not to also mention openly causing high tensions to run amuck here. This moderator in question, is not only acid-tongued, she also is illegally intimidating those of us on the board, as well as making "I'll get even with you!" threats. Isn't intimidation and making threats a no-no on this board..."all" boards?
Remember just how nice and peaceful it was here before they came back? It was most enjoyable here. Now that they're back, this board is back to its same old ways of driving possible posters away.
I really don't mean to put you in a spot, but I honestly felt that I had to. Why? Because it twas you (on the Off Topic forum) who was wondering how and where to find new members. You must remember that when outsiders drop in, read, and see what's going here...they opt not to stay, and to look for other user-friendlier forums which to sign on. And frankly, I don't blame them, do you?
I rest my case.

Re: Local users - please read.
I am not sure which mod you mean. If it is me, then I'm afraid I've given the wrong impression. The rules of this fourm are clearly stated in the Rules section. There will be NO I repeat NO religious discussion on the forum. None, zip, ziltch - the same goes for politics. If we allow such, as other forums have, it will degenerate into a shouting match and then chaos. Rather than se this forum suffer that fate, we have imposed these rules. I'm sorry you don't like them, but frankly, that's too bad. They're here for a reason and will not be changed.
A warning you are in violation of the rules by placing religious tracts up is hardly intimidation. It's merely good policing.
