I have a passing interest in the mail bags of Titanic and I am wondering if anyone has ever conducted research into this. What, did the mail bags get stolen during the sinking? Did someone stuff them deep into their lifeboat? Not possible. What were they going to do, haul BIG bags up to the Carpathia???
