Danbury Mint's NEW R.M.S. TITANIC Model
In yesterday's snail mail, I received a flyer from The Danbury Mint (I'm sure you've no doubt heard of a similar offer from Franklin Mint) also offering up their own specially built R.M.S. Titanic model...
She is priced at $450, payable in five monthly installments of just $90 (plus $10 total, for shipping and service). Here's the address:
The Danbury Mint
47 Richards Avenue
Norwalk, CT 06857
DM's Titanic's engineers diligently studied detailed blueprints and historical photos in the creation of this, her breathtaking masterpiece. She has been meticulously handcrafted in a rather large 1:400 scale to capture every memorable detail. She is mounted on an elegant wood base, complete with a silver-plated nameplate.
My only drawback is, because I don't have a photos host like Photobucket.com...or, otherwise--I would be too happy to scan her picture to be shown here for all of you to see what she looks like.
--- Precious Lord, take my hand, Lead me on, let me stand! I am tired, I am weak, I am worn, Through the storm, to the light, Take my hand, precious Lord, Lead me home. ~ Tommy Dorsey

Re: Danbury Mint's NEW R.M.S. TITANIC Model
This newly offered DM model, I discovered...is an Revell 1/400 Scale Model version. I too, happen to have this same model, but with just the black hull put together and lies unbuilt in her box.

Re: Danbury Mint's NEW R.M.S. TITANIC Model
Thank you, Pastor Rick, for posting those beautiful photos of the RMS Titanic in her 1/400 scale model form...as I originally talked about in my above opening thread.

A very nice model. What model would be the best for a beginner?
