Re: a new titanic model.

ok how i nthe world did we go from talking about titanic models to talking about this.

ok i am not defending anyone here but if there is going to be any problems i would like my name left out of it. please. i was reading the posts from page 1 -4 the topic i have orignally started has turned completely upside down and if this doesnot get back on topic i will lock it and it can go to another thread.

i have been on other boards as well and had problems with members ....as i am sure we all have.... however this board is tom's board and he saw fit to promote graham and i to moderators and we are trying to keep this board calm and fun however the two of us can only do so much then the rest is u to all of you. i know how it was to feel mistreated at other boards and iknow that if a new member or even an existing one feels that way then soemthing has to be done.

toclear something up i didnt go to kwfc board to defend anyone nd i actually like kate. however because tammy gave me the invite this left me open to a lot of problems that was deemed unfair and unnecessary. however like istated before this is not kwfc this is tomdyers titanic site community.

lets keep it that way . thank you.

by the way on a more personal note .
thank you tammy for giving me the link to this website you are right i definately feel better here then anywhere else.

Um, did you read my question that i asked about models on page 4? I was trying to change the subject while getting to the question that brought me to this thread in the first place. I agree with you that we need to try and stick to the topic. emoticon

Ive been waiting for this. Does anyone know where i can get a nice model of the titanic? We have them here in hobby shops locally that you can assemble (and believe me, niether myself nor navynuke has a problem with that) but the ones here even in the hobby shops are cheezy little plastic models that parts fall off of and there is no pedastal for them. Any info anyone can give me on this would be appreciated.I am not much into colecting in terms of titanic, but I wouldl ike to have a modle for my study room... emoticon

have you tried ebay?

in my town we have a store called hobby lobby. i got my 3ftr there . any good hobby store or model store should have a few.

Ive tried ebay, didnt find any that i really liked. Moost of those are real small. Id like to get a decent sized one. We dont have but so many hobby shops here and like i say the models they have in there are these real cheap looking ones that fall apart easy. Im not sre what he hobby lobby is, I take it that is not in the US???

hey yeah it is in the us . it is a real expensive hobby store. i happened on it when mom bought a dollhouse and needed furniture. i paid around 100 bucks for mine 75 for the model then another 10-20 for glue paints ect. but it is worth it though.
now i just have to find time to do it .

I hear ya. Thats not a bad price for a good model though it would be what about 100 for everything paints and the structure. Plus matt would love working on it. I am not sure if we have a hobby lobby here though. I live in VA Beach right now and they have surf shops of pleanty and nighclubs, and hotels, but....nope not a lot of hobby stores...LOL I may haveto look them up on the internet and see if i can buy online because that sounds prety good...thankyou wills!!
