Re: Greeting cards
Oh, hey, gang for whatever it's worth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is supposed to take place in the 1860's, because the more or less sequel to it Mysterious Island takes place from about 1865 to around 1869 or 1870...OK so I'm a Jules Verne freak, too1

Re: Greeting cards
I hereby release private reproduction rights to any pictures of mine posted on TDTSC for screensavers or desktop images to members of Tom Dyer's Titanic Site Community who have more than 50 posts (I have to make it conditional or I lose copyright).

Re: Greeting cards
HI Lee
Your pictures are also covered by TDTSC copyright and GPS research copyright, while posted on this board. As are messages and any material posted there.
Just thaught I would throw that in for good mesure,

Re: Greeting cards
Yes but that's only if I release said rights to TDTSC and GPS. Which I ain't a-gonna do. Reprint rights are money in the bank to artists, what keeps on going when the jobs thin out.
Most people don't even know that if you buy something from an artist, you do not hold reproduction rights to it unless so specified - that remains the artist's privilege.

Re: Greeting cards
As far as general copyright, that is correct, but any money paid under those circumstances would go to Tom, not us.
