Dear Lights, That is "Deftedar Mosque" which is a very old but beautiful one built on the "Island of Kos, Greece" the birth place of Hippocrates (The father of Medicine). Here is a photograph of it:

My painting is from another angle and you can see me actually in front of the main entrance, wearing green top and red shorts!! emoticon

OH my god, now my cover is blown!!! Nahhhh, I did not have time to sit and paint these on the spot. I either draw a quick scetches, took photos of them, or asked someone else to take it (in the Mosque pic, somebody else took my snapshot of me with the mosque!!!). Then at the comfort of my home I paint it from the photo or scetch.

That is really neat...there are some really beautiful mosques in the Middle East and Greece...I got to the the Alabaster Mosque years ago in Egyot...absolutely beautiful
