posticon The Eternal Darkness

Although TITANIC takes a bit of a back seat in this history of deep sea exploration, I should like to recommend The Eternal Darkness by Dr. Robert D. Ballard.

The chapter on the exploration of Titanic is, naturally, a fantastic read-- as is everything written by Dr. Ballard but so is Ballards recounting of the history of deep submersible exploration.

If you're a fan of the deep sea, like me, I reccomend this book [sign in to see URL] one is "Four Funnels UP"! emoticon
