It documents in main the Alice Cleaver who was mistaken for the one on Titanic. She goes on to prove conclusively that the Allisons nurse maid Alice, was not the one commtitted of murdering her baby. It's a must buy in my opinion plus she provides refferences for those who remain sceptical. nondisclosed_email@example.com (The Foxes)Sun, 21 Nov 2004 22:42:30 +0000 Re: 'From workhouse to prison to.............the Titanic?' by Dinah Burnetthttps://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6799,from=rss#post6799https://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6799,from=rss#post6799Sounds interesting, will keep an eye peeled for it. This is the Alice Cleaver, yes? The real one?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Teamtunafish)Sun, 21 Nov 2004 21:15:26 +0000 Re: 'From workhouse to prison to.............the Titanic?' by Dinah Burnetthttps://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6798,from=rss#post6798https://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6798,from=rss#post6798HI Graham I totaly agree with you, I read this book many years ago and do still have a copy, I have noticed a few things in it that could not possibly be correct but they are also said in the book as assumed not said as fact. The book itsellf was like you say well documented and a must read for any person who is interested in passengers and the people Grahamnondisclosed_email@example.com (graham 01)Sun, 21 Nov 2004 10:46:01 +0000 'From workhouse to prison to.............the Titanic?' by Dinah Burnetthttps://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6797,from=rss#post6797https://btomdyerstitanicsitecommunity.runboard.com/p6797,from=rss#post6797I have recently read the above book that in my opinion should be a must read for all those who have taken an interest in Alice Cleaver the Allisons nursemaid. It is more than clear from the research carried out by the author who Is Alices daughter that Alice has been extremley shodily treated and misrepresented over the years. Dinah provides all the refferences necessary to prove her points in my opinion and I highly recomend this book if you want to know the truth about her.nondisclosed_email@example.com (The Foxes)Sun, 21 Nov 2004 00:39:46 +0000
