Re: Last Log Of The TITANIC
Actually, Graham, he says that he just got tired of the fence-sitting (not everyone on ET trashed the idea) and published.
Once it was out there, and people saw the amount of evidence presented, they did a turn-around. There were semi-apologies posted, these guys do have class and integrity.

Re: Last Log Of The TITANIC
HI TTF
I did not say everyone on ET trashed it I said the biig guns of the time. But I see Davids point. I spoke to him a lot when he first published it and he had some real good theorys that he did not publish.
I know he was getting frustrated at the time as he was tying to lead, And unfortunatly this was not allowed. But his theory and idea for the book was a real good one from my point of view.
He braughht a new dimention to the titanic that was credible and readable. and his work is now used in reference as well.
Wills I think it is out of print but not entirely sure, Maybe a second hand book store may have a copy. When the book foirst came out I had a lot of problems getting hold of it, I wrote to David himsellf and he sugested a few places and to let him know if it was available . I eventually got my copy from John in US who managed to get hold of it for me.

Re: Last Log Of The TITANIC
Thank you for the links, Lee. This is one book I think that anyone serious about Titanic ought to have in their library!
--- "What I remember about that night- what I will remember as long as I live- is the people crying out to each other as the stern began to plunge down. I heard people crying, 'I love you.'"

Re: Last Log Of The TITANIC
Capt./ Brown once was nice enough to send me a personal email after I commented on his book on ET...having never had that happen before, I was impressed. Please tell him that I say Hi too...
