I died on the Titanic by Monica O'Hara Keeton
I just purchased this book "I died on the Titanic" from Ebay. It hasn't gotten here yet, but I wondered if anyone else here has read this book and what you thought about it? It is written by a woman named Monica O'Hara Keeton, who claims that in a former life she sailed the Titanic and died the night it went down. Do any of you believe in reincarnation? I don't really have enough information to know what I think about it. It may be a really cheesy book, but I wanted it to add to my Titanic collection. Let you know what I think after I read it.

I have an open mind on reincarnation.
It sounds like an interesting book, all the same.

Re: I died on the Titanic by Monica O'Hara Keeton
I'm not saying it isn't possible. I just have never personally known anyone who has claims to have been reincarnated. Does anyone here know of anyone? Perhaps after I read the book, I will have a clearer picture of it and a better understanding. I will let you all know what I think when I get the book read.

Just received my copy of this book today. I am about 60 pages into it and will let you know when I finish with it what I think. So far, it is at least entertaining.

Re: I died on the Titanic by Monica O'Hara Keeton
Okay, still not finished with the book yet, but the lady who wrote this book Monica O'Hara Keeton claims to have been Mary Lennon in her past life. Mary Lennon was a third class passenger. However, Mary Lennon she says was not really her name. That was only the name used for the voyage on Titanic as she was traveling incognito. She had been born Lucie Latymer and had a very priviledged childhood. She fell in love with a young man who worked as a gardener for her father and ran away with him because her father disapproved of their relationship. The young man had family in New York and so they boarded the Titanic in Queenstown to go to New York and begin a new life together. Because it was improper during that time period to travel together unless you were married they told everyone they were brother and sister. And went by Dennis and Mary Lennon.
Mrs Keeton describes in detail what the drowning that took place was like. All these memories, she says comes from a life long fear she has had of deep, dark waters. She allowed her husband to hypnotize her and bring out all these repressed memories from her previous life and this book is the product of that.
I still don't really know if I believe 100% in reincarnation, but I will say that her story thus far is very convincing.

Re: I died on the Titanic by Monica O'Hara Keeton
Okay, finished the book today. It's only like 160 pages long. Anyways, I still don't know if I buy into the idea that she was actually reincarnated and in her former life was lost on Titanic the night it went down. It could happen I suppose, but I am not all that convinced. It was a good read though, interesting in detailing, and for the most part really entertaining. Would make a nice addition for anyone collecting Titanic related books.

Wow! That sounds quite spooky, but I'm into that sort of thing! I really want to read that, but they don't have it at ANY of the libraries within 50 miles of me!
Isn't that just superpoop? Now I prolly won't be able to read it.

Thanks! I really want to read it!
I went to the library today and asked a few librarians about it, but they haven't even heard of it and there is no information whatsoever on the book.
