Raise The Titanic, eh!?! Although, thanks to Robert Ballard, we all know that she sadly sits on the ocean floor of the North Atlantic in two different sections.

I must admit that I too, enjoyed RTT, and found it interesting enough. The scene I liked best, was when they raised her in one piece...and I saw this film on a cable channel minus commercial breaks in between too.

But still, I think that Jim Cameron's TITANIC was the best rendition of what actually happened to this beautiful ship. And yet, I hated the way he had Will Murdoch portrayed. You know the scene where he accidently shoots and kills that steerage passenger, and then turns the revolver on himself? emoticon I honestly don't think, b/c he had sooo much to live for...Will wouldn't have killed himself. I like to think that he died a heroic death, and went down with the ship.

Murdochsaid, i agree that JC's TITANIC was the best rendition, however i have a problem with the way he portrayed James Moody. He just seemed to be there to get in the way of Will Murdoch. and i hated that Lightoller looked like he was scared of every thing he did and like you said, he put a slur on Murdochs name by suggesting he shot himself, he could have used a fictional charecter for that instead of a real person.

Most of you have never heard of it, I'm sure, but the worst I have even dreamed of was Titanic: The Animated Movie, a flick where nobody dies and the mice sing as everyone is rescued - here's a link to one of the reviews: http://www.badmovieplanet.com/unknownmovies/reviews/rev317.html. Terrible doesn't even come close in this one, folks.

I haven't seen the Titanic miniseries and this is the first I've ever heard about it! The worst one I saw was the one with Barbara and Clifton. I just laughed when I watched it because it is SO inacurate! I mean in the movie the dining room does not resemble the one on the Titanic at all! And then the scene where the Titanic actually sinks was messed up beyond words!

Can I add Debbie Reynolds's The Unsinkable Molly Brownmovie musical, as a foray of worst Titanic made movies, too?

As much as I loved Debbie's musical talents as actress-songtress, I admit that there were indeed, inaccuracies of how Mrs. Brown was portrayed...as well as the Titanic scenes as well. Highly inaccurate! emoticon

All I've seen of this film/movie is one clip of MB being lowered in a lifeboat, which I thing looks very exaggerated to me.

MurdochsAid,

I'll drink to THAT! USMB definitely belongs on the list of worst films. I mean her "I blow your yellow guts all over the Atlantic: rates right up there with Jonny Phillips's "Get back I say, or I
ll shoot you all like dogs!"-- or did I mean DOWN there?

the worst titanic movie by far is james camerons 1997 version lol ...... not im just kidding ok... sorry little humorous there today.

the worst would definately be the miniseris but also tied with it would definately have to be raise the titanic .. those two movies were horrible words could not describe. i could have found something better to spend my money on.

I saw RTT on cable TV, when I used to live in Granada Hills, CA...so therefore--I didn't have to pay a dime to see it. I watched it just out of curiosity, because some actor I met...told me he was in it.
