I'm even closer yet. I'm an hour your way from Raleigh, NC. Only 45 minutes from the Va. line.

Re: FAVOURITE TITANIC FILM
Hi
300 miles not far, I do that to travel down south. I expected more miles than that though.
Me now lets see acording to route planner my milage is well over 1800 miles. And the car dont float or fly. Darn must get some new gadgets fitted in it.

Where about in Southern Indiana, Lill? Are you anywhere close to late actor James Dean's hometown of Marion/Fairmount, IN? And, have you ever been there, too?
Why my interest in Jimmy? It is because William Bast (Willie, to the Deaner & me), back in the mid-70s, was on my Paramount Studio mail route on the old RKO-Desilu side of the lot.

Yes, I did, Graham. Infact, one them was none other than our very own Gloria Stuart, who of course--played "Old Rose" in Jim Cameron's TITANIC. How's that for having a Titanic connection on/off the screen...in more ways than one?
She, at the time, was working on Bill Bast's The Legend of Lizzie Borden miniseries, playing a storekeeper.
And I found her to being just as sweet inperson, as she is on the screen.
